I am a consultant and analyst with eight years of military law enforcement experience, six years of analytical experience covering Latin America, and over seven years of analytical experience covering Mexican TCOs and border violence issues. This blog is designed to inform readers about current border violence issues and provide analysis on those issues, as well as detailed focus on specific border topics. By applying my knowledge and experience through this blog, I hope to separate the wheat from the chaff...that is, dispel rumors propagated by sensationalist media reporting, explain in layman's terms what is going on with Mexican TCOs, and most importantly, WHY violence is happening along the US-Mexico border.

I believe anyone convicted for participating in an organized drug ring/ cartel should be sentenced to death or life in prison. This may seem harsh, but everyday there are cruel executions (Many of which can be found posted on the internet), where grown men are doing unspeakable things to other human beings! What is happening to people? Have they no conscious? Why attempt to give people who pose a threat to not only those who come in contact with him/her, but also anyone who comes in contact with whatever narcotic he/she has/is slinging? It has to end.

I just read a report on Wikipedia (This information could be false and I do not in any way, shape or form take credit for this information), but in this report, it was stated that somewhere around 87% of firearms used in crimes in Mexican crimes can be traced back to the United States as their point of origin... This is an outrage! We need better weapons regulations in the United States, and possession should be limited... THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO REASON ANY CITIZEN SHOULD OWN A FULLY/ SEMI AUTOMATIC RIFLE. If they try to state that the reason they have the weapon is for safety/ recreational use, tell them to go to their local recreational store and purchase a weapon such as a bolt-action rifle......
P.S: Obama, where is your change? Oh wait, I'm being an asshole when I don't thank you for increasing out nation's debt more than every other president in the US's history combined. GET HIM OUT OF OFFICE!
