Another thing to consider. In a Catholic country -- or in a Catholic subculture in a non-Catholic country -- religion permeates all aspects of life and social activity. E.g., Caesar Chavez had Catholicism and his Catholic faith on display everywhere during his United Farm Workers organizing days, yet the UFW was not a religious movement per se. Another example is the Argentine constitution, which requires that the president be a Catholic -- again, religion taking a prominent place in a seemingly office. Perhaps something that natural is what we are seeing among the narcos.

I was attacked , kidnapped, and my car was shot by AK 47's in Santa Maria Ostula by Najual Indians hiding behind Non-Profit ORG Human right issues. meanwhile dealing drugs, kidnapping, killing etc. under the guise of peaceful protesters. have police report plus photos to prove it to anyone interested. happened July 4th afternoon 2009 At the cross roads of Santa Maria Ostula Michoacan. These people are criminals and murderers and nobody wants to punish them because of human rights issues. They have big new cars and about 200 men with AK 47's

It is not surprising to me that gangsters would use religion to recruit people, considering that the dominant world thug nation uses the words "One nation under God " in it's pledge of aledgence.

I would love to get your feedback on my new novel "The Cocaine Saints"
